We understand as a site owner that you might have some particular questions about how Scandoo deals with your website.
- Why has Scandoo not classified (name of website) website?
It’s not a trivial task classifying the internet, and while we’re
confident we’ve covered 95% of the accessed internet, there are some
sites, which we’ve not been able to classify, or got round to
classifying.
So please help us:
- Search for your site with Scandoo,
- Mouse over the icon next to your site,
- Select 'redefine' from the Scandoo speech bubble that pops up.
- Submit a classification for your site
For sites that you own, you can make an owner classification.
You can do this by submitting a Site Owner classification request via our feedback page.
- Can I pay to alter how Scandoo describes my site?
For our service to be trustworthy, we feel we have to be impartial,
hence reclassifying is only done if we determine there is an inaccuracy
with our description of the content of the website.
- Can I advertise with Scandoo?
We fetch the request from the selected search engine as is, and then
add our security icons. This also means that we display all the
advertisements that the search engine generates. Scandoo does not
accept advertising.
